Kirpal Export Overseas began in 2000 with a simple but powerful vision—to make safe, natural, and effective herbal hair care accessible to people everywhere. What started as a small dream by our founder, Mr. Sunil Walia, With his wife, Mrs. Payal Walia, the vice president of KEO, it slowly grew into a brand that has touched lives across the world.
In the early 2000s, indigo was known only as a textile dye, molded into solid cakes and used for coloring fabrics. A way was paved for Indigo to be used safely on hair—a chance and a meaningful collaboration that changed everything. When Mr. Sunil Walia crossed paths with Japanese agricultural scientist Mr. Kobyashee, the two discovered a revolutionary way to use indigo as a gentle, natural hair colorant. This breakthrough was life-changing for many people who suffered from allergies, irritation, and harmful reactions to chemical dyes.
That moment became the foundation of our identity. Kirpal Export Overseas became the first herbal hair-care company to introduce indigo as a natural hair color—a milestone that opened doors around the world.
